Ninety-nine percent of people are convinced they are incapable of achieving great things so they aim for mediocre. The definition of mediocre is “of only moderate quality; not very good; common; ordinary; average. I don’t know about you, but I do not want to be labeled as ordinary or average or mediocre!

I am More Than my Weight

I have been on a specific plan for weight loss for the last 2 months. Every Monday is weigh-in day. It means I weigh and measure myself first thing every Monday morning. The whole process is a little intimidating, as an overweight person.

For such a time as this makes me think of our world today. Our world is in crisis mode with many fears spreading faster than the virus itself. Our lives have been radically disrupted in a circumstance out of our control.

Dealing with Disappointment

I’m so disappointed right now. My family and I were planning a trip to Arizona for Spring Training next week and now it has been shut down. AND, baseball season is on hold indefinitely! Wow, I know I speak for many baseball fans when I say, “AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!”

Neil Armstrong said, “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Sometimes I think our minds would have us believe that the next step we want to take in growing our business or changing our health or fixing our relationship, is as far-fetched as walking on the moon.
